If your student plays a reeded instrument they will be expected to have 3 working reeds at all times. Bari sax and bassoon can have 2 due to the cost.
Students will need these 3 working reeds by Friday, September 19.
Please only buy reeds directly from me or Meyer Music or use the links provided in the supply PDF. These are the best brands that will help your student be successful! Please avoid the cheaper brands on Amazon even if they have fun names and 'good' reviews. These reeds are very poorly made which results in a bad tone, poor intonation, and many times the reeds do not even work. Imagine trying to pull a semi trailer with a Prius.....it doesn't quite work!
Meyer Music is now offering a reed club! This is a monthly subscription where students receive 4 reeds a month, taking the guesswork and thinking out for you. Use this link for more information and to sign up.
Flute players should have either a polishing cloth or a basic washcloth to wipe down the outside of their flute. This prevents tarnishing from hand oils.
Or order directly from Meyer Music with the instructions below.
