High School Band
The high school band has a variety of opportunities for our students!

Marching Band - 5th hour during the 1st trimester of school, marching band is a group of students that perform competitively thru the fall. Marching band combines marching and other choreography with the musical performance.
Pep Band - A volunteer group of students that play a variety of pop music at home basketball games to entertain the crowd before the game starts.
Winter Guard - A Winter guard is a competitive indoor color guard performance which incorporates choreographed staging, dance and equipment such as flags, props, rifles and sabres.
Winter Percussion - A Winter percussion is an extracurricular group that rehearses from December through April and performs in a series of competitions beginning in february in and around Michigan.
Concert Band - Concert band meets 1st hour. The concert band is made up of 9th grade students and 10-12th grade students who did not audition into Symphony or Wind Symphony band.
Symphony Band - Symphony band meets 5th hour (2nd and 3rd trimester). The band is open to any 10-12 grade student. An audition is required to play in Symphony band.
Wind Symphony Band - Wind Symphony meets 4th hour (2nd and 3rd trimesters). An audition is required to play in Wind Symphony.
Jazz Band - Hudsonville now has multiple jazz band classes available all three trimesters. First trimester is for experienced performers, second trimester is for students new to jazz, third trimester is for anyone with jazz experience
