High School Bands

5th Hour, 1st Trimester

A group of students that perform competitively through the fall. Marching band combines marching and other choreography with the musical performance. 

3rd Hour

The concert band is made up of 9th grade students and 10-12th grade students who did not audition into Symphony or Wind Symphony.

5th Hour, 2nd and 3rd Trimester

The band is open to any 10-12 grade student by audition.

4th Hour, 2nd and 3rd Trimester

The band is open to any 10-12 grade student by audition.

4th Hour, 1st Trimester

Eagle Claw provides special needs students at HHS with an opportunity to learn about and experience music daily!

A competitive indoor color guard performance which incorporates choreographed staging, dance and equipment such as flags, props, rifles and sabres. Color Guard is open to grades 6-12.

An extracurricular group that rehearses from December through April and performs in a series of competitions beginning in February in and around Michigan. Winter Percussion is open to any student grades 7-12 by audition. You do not have to be a percussionist to audition.

A volunteer group of students that play a variety of pop music at home basketball games to entertain the crowd before the game starts.
