The 5/6 @ Georgetown 6th Grade Bands Fall Concert 2025
Our Fall Concert will approach fast and it will be time for students to get the opportunity to make music on our stage and receive LOTS of praise for their hard work thus far! Please make sure you mark your calendars with the following information:
6th Grade Bands Fall Concert
Monday, October 6th, 2025
Hudsonville Fine Arts Auditorium (HHS North Campus)
Start Time = 6:30pm
6th Grade Students will be asked to wear their “personal best” for this concert, much like they would to a wedding or special event. Students are asked NOT to wear jeans, pants with rips or tears, sweatpants or shirts with major logos on them (ie Nike, UnderArmor, etc.). If there are any questions, please contact Mr. Jacobs or Mr. Hansen.
Students will be required to arrive at the North Campus early. Students will use Entrance H2 on the northeast side of the building; parents MUST enter through the main entrance A. If you have never been to our high school campus, please look for a map in a few weeks! Parents who stay after their student(s) is(are) dropped off will be able to enter the auditorium beginning at 5:45pm.
1st Hour Band’s Call Time: 6:00pm in the HHS Orchestra Room
2nd hour Band’s Call Time: 6:00pm in the HHS Band Room
Students are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes early
Please note the following:
This is a concert grade and thus counts for 40% of students’ Q1 grade. Grade is based upon attendance and appropriate participation; conflicts should be communicated as soon as possible.
Please be patient with the parking at the North Campus before and after the concert; with the size of our program, sporting events and community events, things will be full!
Please make sure your student is on-time to their Call Time as we will be rehearsing before as a full group!
The concert should conclude around 6:55pm.
Following the concert, please exit the auditorium and meet your student in the Cafetorium.
Students and families are not required to stay for the BMS Bands Fall Concert, but are encouraged to do so!
Parents/Audience members are encouraged to “Silence” their cell phones and view the concert. Students have worked VERY hard for this performance and you are encouraged to support them!
If there are questions, comments, conflicts or concerns, please contact Mr. Jacobs via phone or email at zjacobs@hpseagles.net or 669-7750 ext. 3303 or Mr. Hansen at ghansen@hpseagles.net.
