posted Jul 27, 2017, 2:21 PM by Web Master   [ updated Jul 27, 2017, 2:22 PM ]

Hello Everyone!!! And Happy Summer!!!

The Hudsonville Fair is fast approaching and we need your help! As you may or may not already know, the Band Boosters run a food booth every year at the Fair. This is a major fundraiser for the Band and we can't do it without your help. We would like to invite you and your band kids to join us in helping make this fundraiser a success. This is a great opportunity to support your band members and also to meet fellow band parents and students.  Please consider signing up for a shift (or more) to help out, we would love for you to join us!! We always have a lot of fun, AND you get free food and reimbursed admission to the fair on the day you volunteer. Don't let this opportunity pass you by, sign up on Charms or send me an email if you're interested!!! Please note...if you sign up on charms you will see two events, one for the morning shift and one for the afternoon/evening shifts. Hope to see you there!!

If you have a child 7th grade or younger who would like to volunteer, please don't sign them up on CHARMS. They are welcome to come with you, just shoot me an email with your name, your childs name and age and what day/time you are working. Feel free to email me with any questions you might have, the fair is from August 21-26 this year.  You can also check out the fair website to get more info:

A Sincere Thank You To All!!!

Way to go Hudsonville High School Bands!! I just got your box with all the receipts you've collected since we started collecting for Direct Your Dollars and am excited to say as a group you collected... $18,269!

In less than 3 months, we are already a 1/3 of the way there! As of tonight, our total is $50,854!!

PLEASE continue to save your Family Fare / D&W receipts that have Direct Your Dollars on them over summer vacation as it would be great if we could hit our $150k by Christmas Break!

To all those who have donated your receipts... THANK YOU! Please feel free to ask friends, family members and neighbors to collect them as well.

The Hudsonville Bands would, for one final time, like to wish Mr. Good well wishes on his retirement. In his 27 years at Hudsonville Schools, he not only taught students how to perform music on instruments but also how to perform well in life.

The impact he has made on students will be engrained in their lives for years to come, and even his perfected art of sarcasm will be missed :) There are not enough words to express how deeply he will be missed by students, parents and staff members.

From the hearts of your students and friends Mr. Good, we wish you nothing but the best!
